Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Vine app ("Vine"). By downloading or using Vine, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Vine helps you understand wine quality and flavor, discover food pairings, and find recipes. Insights, pairings, and recipes are provided for general informational purposes and may not be accurate for every bottle or situation. Always drink responsibly and only if you are of legal drinking age in your location.

Accounts

You sign in with your email using a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. Provide accurate information and do not use another person's account without permission.

Subscription, billing, and renewal

  • Full access to Vine requires an auto-renewable subscription, purchased through your Apple Account.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Do not copy, resell, or redistribute content from Vine except as permitted.
  • Do not use Vine for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

Vine and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Disclaimers

Vine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any recommendation is suitable for your needs. Wine and food recommendations are not medical or dietary advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vine.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Vine after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
