Louis Roederer 2007 Blanc de Blancs Brut Chardonnay (Champagne)

This wine is so crisp and piercingly direct in its acidity and minerality. On the palate, apples are fringed with grapefruit and white-currant flavors, with a texture that tight and edgy. Although hints of toast peek through, the wine is still young, so hold and don't drink before 2016.
